Dua film produksi Montase Productions sukses menjadi finalis dalam ajang 12th Belize International Film Festival 2017, yakni film fiksi pendek, Grandma’s Stove (2015) dan film dokumenter pendek, The Paintings of War (2016). Grandma’s Stove, film arahan Rahma Nurlinda Sari ini bersaing dengan 10 film pendek lainnya yang berasal dari Amerika Serikat, Costa Rica, Cayman Island, Jamaica, dan Trinidad Tobago. Film ini diputar bersama finalis lainnya pada tanggal 11 November di Bliss Centre for Performing Arts, Southern Foreshore Belize City, Belize. Sementara The Paintings of War arahan Agustinus Dwi Nugroho bersaing dengan film dokumenter pendek lainnya dari Amerika Serikat dan Belize. Film ini diputar pada tanggal 10 November di tempat yang sama. Meskipun dua film ini tidak berhasil menang, namun adalah sebuah prestasi besar bagi Komunitas Film Montase serta mampu mengharumkan nama bangsa di kancah Internasional.
Montase Shorts Became a Finalist at the 12th Belize International Film Festival 2017.
Montase Productions’s shorts successfully become finalists in the 12th Belize International Film Festival 2017, the short fiction film, Grandma’s Stove (2015) and the short documentary, The Paintings of War (2016). Grandma’s Stove, Rahma Nurlinda Sari’s movie competed with 10 other short films from the United States, Costa Rica, Cayman Island, Jamaica and Trinidad Tobago. The film screened with other finalists on November 11th at Bliss Center for Performing Arts, Southern Belize Foreshore City. While The Paintings of War, Augustine Dwi Nugroho’s film competed with other short documentary films from the United States and Belize. The film was screened on November 10th in the same place. Although these two films did not win, it was a great achievement for the Montase Film Community and was able to bring the name of the nation on the international scene.
